Red Dead Online, where privacy is not really a thing anymore…
I finally got my son to play Red Dead Online! 😁 So as a proud gamer mama I wanted to get a posse photo done with both him and my daughter’s characters and well….
It didn’t go too good
My poor hound Fern is just like “This isn’t right, not at all” 😂

Seriously, this actually happened while I was playing RDO one day. 😄
Ruvik tends to stick to trouble even when he’s doing something so mundane as shopping.
Here is a render of him standing in front of his childhood home, which was burned and left abandoned after his family was killed and he was sent away.
Took this picture when Ruvik realized that he hadn’t yet made it onto the bounty board in this particular town.

Ruvik my Red Dead Online character recreated and rendered by me in Daz 3D Studio.
I’ve been reworking my base model of my Red Dead Redemption Online character Ruvik in Daz. Finally I have been able to mess his left eye up a little bit. Due to the initial injury to his face his eye was damaged and his jaw messed up as well, so he is left with an eye with a milky iris and a jaw that sits off a bit kind of making him look like he’s smiling like a smart ass I think. 😁
I also finally got to render him in Arthur’s long hairstyle, which is the one I was hoping to get in Online.

I have to say I love his belly button, something about softer bellies and belly buttons on guys just makes me happy.

A render in a double breasted jacket like the one he wears often in game. I wished I could find a model of Micah wearing that jacket so I could get it ported in this program.

If only we could take our camp dogs out with us on an adventure in Red Dead Online.
I rendered this image with that wishful thought in mind. This is my RDR online character Ruvik with his temperamental stallion Karl and his hunting dog Fern out having a casual ride out on the plains.
I ran this image through some filters to give it an old look too.
Image was rendered in Daz 3D Studio, Ruvik was recreated by me on the Genesis 8 model, Karl and Fern were made using the Hivewire horse and Hivewire dog models.
I did enjoy the festive decor for the Hanging Dog Ranch Call to Arms map, that is except that candy cane tree near the front door was in a bad spot.
Cannot tell you how many times I got stuck in it trying to get from one side of the map to the other, or when I came flying out of the door of the house.
My husband: They’re coming in from the North, can you go intercept them?
Me: I will when I can figure out how to get out of this damn tree! 😆
In the end I had to go wide around the front of the house to avoid it completely.
Went and recreated my and both my husband’s and my daughter’s Red Dead Online characters using Hero Forge (amazing company). They came in today and omg, they are so darn adorable and they look great. I also had a little Arthur and a little John made because, well I’m obsessed.
I’m going to the craft store so I can get them a little display shelf made with a western theme.
They are standing in front of a Tarot Deck just to show their size since I do not have any of my Dice on hand atm, and I wanted to show how small they are.

My fingers hurt and my vision is blurry but I’ve made more progress on my flower girl dress for my cousin’s wedding. It’s this upcoming Saturday so I need to move my ass. I’m making my brother’s vest and tie as well.
